针对截面为正多边形的球磨机研磨筒进行结构研究,利用EDEM软件分析介质球在各种形状研磨筒内的运动特性,得出截面为正八边形的研磨筒能量利用率最高,单位时间内介质球的有效碰撞次数最多等结论.与传统圆柱形筒体进行实验对比,截面为正八边形的研磨筒磨矿产物中-200目矿料明显增加,提高了磨机破碎率和能量转化率,进而降低了磨矿能耗和生产成本,为立式搅拌磨机的结构优化提供参考.
