在普通钻床或车床上用麻花钻进行扩孔时,切屑总是沿钻头的螺旋形容屑槽向后排出。这样,它有以下缺点: 1.由于切屑沿容屑槽向后排出,随着扩孔深度的增加,切屑长度在不断增长,随钻杆一起旋转甩出,经常拉伤工人,危及人身安全,影响生产。 2.因为向后排屑,切削液也随切屑一起被甩出工件,冷却不良,产生的热量散不出去,钻头寿命下降。由于钻头烧伤,影响了孔的表面粗糙度。此外,切屑沿已加工好的表面溢出容易划伤工件表面,影响表面粗糙度。
