Eka Expands Paper Chemicals Business in Asia Eka Chemicals of Sweden is a subsidiary of Akzo Nobel, and recently announced that it will acquire the paper chemicals and resins business of Dongsung Chemical Co., Korea, which includes a production facility in Gunsan, South Korea. A 70% stake in Dongsung Chemical Co., a set of gum resin installations in China. The business acquired this time in 1998 had a turnover of 15.5 million U.S. dollars, and its products include products such as rosin, synthetic sizing agents, and resin-based emulsifiers.
