面对生源复杂、教材大纲编写落后、教学受课堂制约、教师提高学生生存能力的意识薄弱的现状,如何培养21世纪的智力落后公民,如何使其获得生存的知识技能技巧是我们特殊教育学校的重要课题之一。该研究通过加强学校环境建设、进行课程改革、开展主题教育与社会实践活动、延伸教育手臂等途征,其结果表明:环境是培养适应能力的重要途径之一,正确的办学理念是课题研究的保证,主题教育与社会实践活动是必不可少的训练方法。可见,培养弱智学生适应能力是一个永恒的主题、要深入挖掘教育资源。
