Most of the original manuscripts of the musical works are only one, while the handed down “Yellow River Chorus” manuscript is two, and at the same time selected Chinese archives heritage list. One of them is the notable manuscript of Yan’an in 1939, referred to as “Yan’an Manuscript” for short; and the other is the Musical Manuscript of Moscow in 1941, also known as “Symphony of the Yellow River” . At present, these two manuscripts are collected in the China Academy of Art Library. Two versions, fully demonstrated the whole picture of this handed down. But why there are two manuscripts, what’s behind the story?
