Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of focal adhesion kinase (FAK), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and microvessel density (MVD) and the invasiveness of pituitary adenomas. Methods: The immunohistochemical S-P method was used to detect the expression of the above three in 50 cases of pituitary adenomas. Results: The expressions of FAK, VEGF and MVD in invasive group and noninvasive group were significantly different. The high expression of FAK directly led to the significant increase of angiogenesis. The high expression of FAK was positively correlated with the invasiveness of tumor cells. VEGF could promote tumor The role of neovascularization, MVD is a quantitative indicator of angiogenesis. Conclusion: FAK, MVD and VEGF can be used as good biological indicators to judge the invasiveness of pituitary adenomas and prognosis.
