大运河文化带建设中,打造“苏州样板”,把苏州段建设成为“最精彩的一段”,关键在于用好用活文化资源和历史遗存。文章从文化角度对蕴含千年文化意蕴、与运河相伴相生的古镇横塘进行解析,认为横塘在地理位置上具备了作为运河文化带景观圈节点的外在条件;在众多诗文中的横塘,拥有不同的意象,也为打造横塘景区提供了文脉基础。文章在介绍与解析的基础上,提出打造“诗意横塘”的概念,并由此提出了基于历史史实、具有操作性的五条路径。
