Since the first Ningbo International Clothing Festival was held in 1997, the brand effect of the exhibition platform has been continuously improved and its influence has been gradually expanded, which has effectively promoted the high-quality development of Ningbo’s textile, clothing and fashion industry.
From October 22nd to 24th, 2020 Ningbo Fashion Festival and the 24th Ningbo International Fashion Exhibition were held in Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center.
This time, through holding a variety of rich activities, Ningbo fashion festival has pooled fashion resource, advocated fashion concept, shaped its brand image, promoted the development of high quality fashion industry via Internet, transformed traditional mode of exhibition, speeded up the construction of the fashion industry ecology, promoted fashion consumption upgrade, optimized fashion development environment, and boosted Ningbo an internationally influential fashion city.
The most spectacle opening ceremony
On October 22nd, the opening ceremony of 2020 Ningbo Fashion Festival was held in the newly completed PEACEBIRD Fashion headquarter, which fully reflects the mutual improvement and innovation between the fashion festival and the industry. After careful preparation and organization by the organizing committee of the Fashion Festival, finally, a long-awaited Ningbo fashion feast opened here.
The domestic related government leaders, clothing associations and other organizations, Harper’s bazaar, China textile magazine and many other media, exhibitors and buyers from all over the country, guests and friends from business, fashion and other fields attended 2020 Ningbo fashion festival.
At the opening ceremony, Donghua University and Ningbo Peacebird Fashion Apparel Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Ningbo University, Youngor Group and Shenzhou International Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement between Ningbo International Fashion Technology Park and Ningbo University International Fashion School. Mr. Chen Dapeng, President of China National Garment Association, gave the title "China Contemporary Youth Fashion Research Center" to Mr. Chen Hongchao, general manager of Ningbo Peacebird Fashion Apparel Co., Ltd.

Under the new domestic and foreign situation, the Ningbo fashion Festival kept pace with times, kept innovating, and focused on the inheritance, innovation and promotion in accordance with the requirements of building a double cycle, cultivating new opportunities and expanding the market at home and abroad.
The Ningbo fashion festival boasts a variety of activities, including offline and online exhibitions, forums, commercial negotiations and trade between exhibitors and buyers, etc. There are seven exhibition areas covering men’s and women’s clothing jewelry, accessories and bags; fabric and ac- cessories; intelligent equipment, technology and Internet service; and clothing design, development, experience and production platform.
