目的:探讨早幼粒细胞性白血病基因(PML)蛋白在喉癌和鼻咽癌组织中的表达及意义。方法:运用免疫组织化学SP法检测56例喉癌和34例鼻咽癌患者术后石蜡标本中PML蛋白的表达水平,分析其与肿瘤病理分级和T分级、淋巴结转移的关系。结果:①在不同病理分级的喉癌组织中,PML蛋白表达水平随着肿瘤恶性程度的升高而降低(P<0.05);②在不同T分级的喉癌和鼻咽癌组织中,PML蛋白表达水平随着肿瘤的发展而降低(P<0.05);③与喉癌组织相比,鼻咽癌组织中PML蛋白表达相对较低(P<0.05);④在有无淋巴组织转移的鼻咽癌组织和喉癌组织中PML蛋白表达均差异无统计学意义。结论:PML蛋白与喉癌和鼻咽癌的病理分级和T分级的关系密切,提示PML在抑制肿瘤生长中可起到一定的作用。在肿瘤的转移方面,PML所起作用较小。
Objective: To investigate the expression and significance of promyelocytic leukemia gene (PML) in laryngeal carcinoma and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods: The expression of PML protein in paraffin embedded specimens of 56 cases of laryngeal carcinoma and 34 cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma was detected by immunohistochemical SP method. The relationship between the expression of PML protein and tumor grade, T grade and lymph node metastasis was analyzed. Results: ① The expression of PML protein in laryngeal carcinoma with different histological grade decreased with the increase of the degree of malignancy (P <0.05); ② In different T grade laryngeal and nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues, PML protein (P <0.05); ③ Compared with laryngeal carcinoma, the expression of PML protein in nasopharyngeal carcinoma was relatively lower (P <0.05); ④The nasopharynx in the presence or absence of lymphoid tissue metastasis PML protein expression in cancer and laryngeal cancer was no significant difference. Conclusion: PML protein is closely related to the pathological grade and T grade of laryngeal and nasopharyngeal carcinoma, suggesting that PML may play a role in inhibiting tumor growth. PML plays a smaller role in tumor metastasis.
