自动闭塞和机车信号的基础是轨道电路。本文列出作者关于轨道电路应满足4项以及自动闭塞和机车信号应满足8项基本要求的观点,并根据国内外自动闭塞的发展历史和近年来的发展趋势,指出频率式自动闭塞和机车信号是最适宜的,是大势所趋。 从满足轨道电路的四条基本要求出发,作者提出使用不同信号周率时的比较标准和计算公式,列出计算结果和曲线,说明频率式自动闭塞和机车信号采用亚音频的周率范围最为合宜。 结合我国具体情况,还采用了电码化,从而构成了亚音频频率式电码自动闭塞和机车信号制式。
