中国共产党成为唯一的执政党,是中国近代历史发展的必然结果,是中国人民的正确选择。但这并不意味着党拥有一劳永逸的执政权利。如果我们党执政意识淡薄,不能在现代化建设中认真研究新情况,解决新问题,学会我们原先不懂的东西;不能使人们在各种社会制度的比较中得出公认的发展较快的评价;不能及时有效地解决党内存在的脱离群众,高高在上,独断专行,作威作福,以权谋私等消极腐败现象,就会辜负人民的期望并逐渐失去人们的信任。而极少数别有用心的人就会利用我们工作的失误作为动摇、取消党的执政地位的口实。因此,必须在社会主义现代化建设中进一步增强执政意识,提高执政的本领,才能巩固党的执政地位。 Being the sole ruling party, the Chinese Communist Party is an inevitable result of the development of modern history in China and the correct choice for the Chinese people.
