Objective: To observe whether MDSCs have a protective effect on the liver of septic mice. Methods: The model of sepsis was made by classic cecal ligation and puncture (CLP). MDSCs were injected into tail vein after CLP. The changes of MDSCs in sham group and CLP group at 7 d after operation were compared. Results: In the sham operation group and the CLP group, the MDSCs were continuously aggregated in the liver of mice, and the increased proportion of MDSCs in CLP group was higher than that in sham operation group (P <0.05). MDSCs could reduce the index of liver inflammation (AST and ALT) . Conclusion: MDSCs can reduce liver injury in septic mice and provide a new therapeutic method for sepsis-induced liver injury.
