Orexins hypocretins是新发现的源于同一前体的一类神经肽 ,有orexinA和orexinB两种。orexins主要由下丘脑神经元产生 ,通过神经纤维的直接投射或释放进入脑室循环间接作用于远处的靶细胞 ,激活两种与G蛋白偶联的细胞表面受体OX1R和OX2R。orexins参与了下丘脑对摄食、能量代谢、心血管功能、睡眠与觉醒等活动的调节
Orexins hypocretins is a newly discovered class of neuropeptides derived from the same precursor, including orexinA and orexinB. Orexins, produced mainly by hypothalamic neurons, indirectly target distant target cells by direct projection or release of nerve fibers into the ventricular circulation, activating two cell surface receptors, OX1R and OX2R, which are coupled to the G protein. Orexins is involved in regulation of hypothalamus feeding, energy metabolism, cardiovascular function, sleep and wakefulness
