数字技术、多媒体娱乐和教育软件应用的不断普及,3D 图形的存储编辑和处理的日趋频繁,CPU 的主频在不断提升,同时用户对大容量、高性能的硬盘驱动器的需求也在日益增长。作为笔记本电脑系统中重要性绝不逊于 CPU 和 LCD 屏的一环,硬盘同样面临着不断提高容量和性能的压力。由于笔记本电脑硬盘工作环境的特殊性,硬盘不仅要与普通台式机一样包括磁头、磁碟、主轴马达(Spindle motor)、线圈促动器(Voice coilactuator/motor)以及电路板(PCB)等部件;而且还要满足体积小、重量轻、防震动、防冲击、低功耗、易散热等特殊、额外的要求。
