在热作模具材料5CrNiMo中添加不同含量的合金元素Ta或Nb,进行了显微组织、高温拉伸、高温磨损和热疲劳试验。结果表明,合金元素Ta、Nb的添加细化了材料组织,提高了高温拉伸性能、高温耐磨损性能和热疲劳性能;复合添加效果优于单一添加;与未添加合金元素的5CrNiMo相比,复合添加0.5%Ta和0.5%Nb可使材料的700℃抗拉强度提高223%,700℃磨损体积减小87%,1000次25~700℃冷热循环后主裂纹的平均宽度减小82%,平均深度减小83%,损失因子减小97%。
