吴昌硕是“清末海派四大家”之一,是少有能将诗、书、画、印四项艺术形式综合运用到画中的画家。其花鸟画因其个人风格独成一派,于写意方面浑然天成,可谓古今少有。因此,分析吴昌硕花鸟画的风格特点,瞻仰其浑厚、苍劲、朴实、粗狂的写意风格,对研究现代花鸟写意有着重要作用,文章从诗、书、画、印等方面铺展,对吴昌硕花鸟画的写意风格进行独特分析,并从美术史地位、美术教育体制的启示等方面,论述吴昌硕花鸟写意对后世的影响。
