Luke Fildes has an excellent Victorian oil painting “The Doctor” (Figure 1). In the painting, a little girl was lying on her bed in dying. Her father looked at her desperately. At the center of the picture was a doctor who was looking attentively at his patient. The doctor meditated, but in fact he could do nothing. Although he was six feet away from the desperate father, there was a certain disparity in social status, but we could see he was almost as desperate. He frowned, his hand supporting the jaws of his mustache, with the calm and concern he had given him in that particular occupation. This is the manner in which the doctor behaves in despair, and the Fa will freeze them permanently on the canvas.
