Although Nobel laureate Nadine Gordimer in 1991 said she was not concerned about politics, her work chronicles the impact of decades of politics on personal life and the growing aggressiveness of white South African women in racial discrimination Rise and Fall of the process of feeling, thinking and imagination. She tries to capture the true meaning of life by exploring political issues and psychological feelings. Although Gordimer emphasized that the French novelist Proust beat her more than any other writer as an artist, many preferred to associate her writing with social realism rather than stream of consciousness skills. Of her eleven novels, she most likes the sixth “The Con-servationist.” This novel shows the hero’s inner world from beginning to end. In this way, we can recognize the complex mentality of the writer from the apparent contradictions.
