Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a monopeptide mucin that causes an immunosuppressive response primarily through interaction with certain sites on the surface of lymphocytes. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between the amount of AFP and T lymphocytes in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and primary hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with significantly elevated AFP levels. Materials and methods First, the test object: pathologically diagnosed 45 cases of CHB patients, HCC patients in 11, 20 normal controls, age and gender similar to patients. Second, the reagents: WuT_3, WuT_4, WuT_9 monoclonal antibody sensitized blood cells, WuTac monoclonal antibody and monoclonal antibody AP AAP reagents, by the Ministry of Health, Wuhan Institute of Biological Products.
