本文旨在阐明当今欧洲大陆文化符号学流派的社会文化背景,提出一些有关“结构主义危机”的假说,为未来“符号学科”的演进勾勒出四种图景:第一、选择排他性地只借助生物学,尤其是神经心理学(neurophysiology)的办法;第二、选择“多元文化符号学”(semiotics of cultures)转向;三、选择“单一文化符号学”(semiotics of culture)转向;第四、选择“文化符号学”(cultural semiotics)转向。在概述了前三种情况的优势和劣势后,本文提出最切实可行的办法就是第四种“文化符号学”(cultural semiotics),它通过倒金字塔式的拓扑学方法得到发展,也就是说,它结合了格雷马斯的生成说路径(generative path)和洛特曼的文化拓扑学(cultural typology)。最后,本文还分析了一个具体的案例:在多种信仰的城市语境下对宗教多样性的治理。
This paper aims to clarify the socio-cultural background of cultural semiotics schools in Europe today and put forward some hypotheses about “structuralist crisis ”, giving four sketches for the future evolution of “semiotics ”: first, choosing exclusiveness Only by means of biology, especially neurophysiology; second, the choice of “semiotics of cultures”; third, the choice of “semiotics of cultures” fourth, choose “cultural semiotics” turn.
