同心县清真大寺,座落在同心县城旧城(明代俗呼半角城)北部的高地上,是宁夏境内建立年代较久,建筑规模较大的一座清真寺。其建筑布局独特,结构严谨,雕刻精工,朴实无华,它在南部山区的穆斯林中影响很深,是南部山区宗教学术活动的中心,经堂教育很发达,有不少的知名宗教人员都曾求学于这个清真大寺。(见图一) The Great Mosque of Tongxin County, located in the high ground north of the old city of Tongxin County (Ming Dynasty vulgar half-size corner city), is a mosque built in Ningxia with a long history and a relatively large building scale.
