Hypoglycemic drugs are not “dependent.” Some patients think that after eating hypoglycemic drugs can not be separated, and will eat the greater the dose, therefore, rather higher blood sugar are not willing to take the drug or increase when necessary. Indeed, most of the patients have been taking the medication since they started their medications. As the duration of their illness increases, the dosage is likely to increase. But this is not because of “dependence” after taking the medication, but because of the need to control blood sugar. Such patients if not in accordance with the doctor’s advice, the result will only be due to poor blood sugar control and various complications of diabetes in advance. Hypoglycemic agents do not by themselves cause any “dependence”, and high blood sugar levels and insubordination can only do harm to their own health.
