The solid self-emulsifying drug delivery system (S-SEDDS) formed by curing liquid or semi-solid self-emulsifying (SE) components can significantly improve the bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs. This article reviews the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine solid self-emulsifying system, the choice of excipients, the application and development prospects of the insoluble traditional Chinese medicine preparations.
