Discuss the factors of 447 years of the ancient corpse preserved in the Ming Dynasty. Methods: Graveyard environmental examination; ancient corpse tissue inspection; coffin chemical composition test and microbiological test; analysis coffin drug composition. Results: No preservatives were used at burial and the coffin had no preservative and fixing effects. Conclusion: Buried, sealed and thermostat low temperature are the basic conditions for the preservation of cadaver; the natural ingredients of cedar coffin is the key to preservation
