n “,”Multiple myeloma (MM) is a plasma cell malignancy with high incidence. Quantity and function of immune cells are significantly abnormal in MM patients, and CD4n + T cells play an important role in occurrence and development of MM.In bone marrow environment of patients with MM, balance disorder in helper T cell (Th)1/Th2, immune evasion of MM cells caused by the increase of regulatory T cell (Treg) and tumor-promoting effect mediated by Th17 or Th22 secreted cytokines are observed, and all these promote the occurence and development of MM. In order to deepen the understanding of CD4n + T cell subsets roles in bone marrow microenvironment of MM patients and provide new insights into immunotherapies about MM, this review summaries biological characteristics of CD4n + T cell subsets in MM patients, including Th1, Th2, Treg, Th17 and Th22, and focuses on current research status of CD4n + T cell subsets involvement in occurrence and development of MM patients.n
