It is generally believed that genetic changes are important both in the origin of breast cancer and in the dissemination of breast cancer. In breast tumors, the rearrangement of genes on chromosome 7 is common. The authors used c-ment proto-oncogene to probe the sequence of chromosome 7q31 and analyzed the DNA of 245 patients with primary breast cancer and blood leukocytes using Pmet H polymorphism probes. Among 124 patients with zygosity, the allele deletion rate was high (40.5%).
