“Liezi” is a very performance-oriented book that the Eastern Jin Dynasty falsified, and typically shows the attitude of the literati in the Six Dynasties. The book is intended to eliminate the Wei and Jin since there is no distinction, the life as the same amount of life and death process. This is very similar to the dynastic sentiment of the Six Dynasties scribes who were born and died. The author of “Liezi” further reinterpreted his destiny and used the theme of the dispute between man and his destiny to reflect the outlook on the fate of the people at that time. These literary themes, which astonished the fate of the Six Dynasties scribes, are very close. The book “Liezi” reflects the inevitable course of the author and annotator from carnival to sad song in the unpredictable circumstances of life and death, thus revealing the unique journey of the scholar in the Six Dynasties.
