《语文课程标准》在教学建议中提出:“识字,写字是阅读和写作的基础,是1~2年级的教学重点。”因此,识字量多少是衡量小学生语文水平的一个重要标准。小学语文课程标准中对小学阶段识字量做了明确规定,整个小学阶段要求认识3000个左右常用字,然而,在小学低年级就要求认识1600个左右,因此,识字教学就成为小学低年级语文教学的重点,同时也是难点,更是学生学好语文学科的基础。
