目前在大学英语教学中经常用到的“输入式”教学方法,压抑了学生的发散性思维,使学生丧失了学习的主动权和自信心。而西方二十世纪文论中一个重要的分支——读者反应理论,应用到大学英语的教学活动之后,可以在很大程度上促进学生的自主性学习。为此,在以读者反应理论为指导的大学英语教学活动中,我们要鼓励学生进行独立思考,大胆创新;鼓励学生撰写学习笔记等。
At present, “input ” teaching method often used in college English teaching suppresses the divergent thinking of students and makes the students lose the initiative and self-confidence of learning. The western twentieth century literature theory, an important branch of the reader response theory, applied to the teaching of college English activities, can largely promote students’ autonomous learning. Therefore, we should encourage students to think independently and make bold innovations in the college English teaching activities guided by reader response theory. Encourage students to write study notes and so on.
