20世纪90年代以来,国务院先后两次较为集中地批准建设了114家国家高新区。由于批建时间、政策扶持以及区域特征等方面的差异,国家高新区发展水平不尽相同,且同一高新区在不同年份的表现也不同。鉴于2007年前批建的54个国家高新区具有数据连续性和外部相似性,采用主分量分析方法构建模型,以2008年为起点对连续5年数据进行提取和分析,结合聚类分析方法,初步实现了国家高新区分类研究。
