一、绪言为决定矿石的平均品位,由矿床各处、或由采掘矿石的各处,采取有代表性的矿片,作为分析试料的作业,叫做试料采取作业。因其目的在于决定矿石的平均品位,故为决定评价的重要因素。采取试料,必须慎重处理,并加以缜密的注意。到处乱采,或为数过少的试料(以矿体之大小来说),对于平均品位之决定,均不发生效果。例如对于一个庞大的矿床,仅由两、三处随手采取几个矿块,是不能成为决定平均品位的材料的。在金属矿山的报告中,屡次见到乱采两、三处矿石的分析表,这种分析,实际上与该矿山的平均品位是关系是很小的,大多数不仅不能成为参考,反能造成错误。欲使坑内试料采取作业收到较大的效果,
