Traditional Chinese medicine,including herbal medicineand acupuncture,as one of the most important parts incomplementary and alternative medicine(CAM),plays thekey role in the formation of integrative medicine.Why donot the modern drugs targeting the specificity of diseasesproduce theoretical effects in clinical observation?Whydoes not the traditional Chinese medicine targeting theZheng(syndrome)produce theoretical effects in clinic?There should have some reasons to combine Westernmedicine with Chinese herbal medicine so as to form theintegrative medicine.During the integration,how to clarifythe impact of CAM theory on Western medicine has becomean emergent topic.This paper focuses on the explorationof the impact of theory of traditional Chinese medicine onthe therapy of diseases in Western medicine.
