中国塑料工业企业数据库收录有全国有关树脂、助剂、加工、机械、模具、科研机构和大专院校及商贸、出版等领域约３０００家与塑料加工有关的企事业单位，每个单位提供１７个数据项目资料。数据库管理系统具有数据资料编辑、特征词和数值查询、数量统计等多种功能。系统管理软件将智能判别及人工干预相结合，采用多级菜单和接近自然语言的表达方式，使编辑和查询工作能迅速、可靠、便利地进行。
