尽管“西部文学”的显在历史可远溯汉唐,但其边缘化的地位却终未改变。在当前的全球化语境中,“西部文学”因其地域性与民族性特质而备受关注,并涌现出了一批新锐作家,但要改变其固有地位,实现与主流文学的并驾齐驱,甚至与世界文学进行交流对话,无疑还任重而道远。纵观东乡族青年作家了一容的创作,总结其成败得失,应该能使人对此有较为客观深切的认识与体悟。
