在传统中国社会中,婚姻的主要功能是传宗接代、延续香火、继承家业。中国台湾地区的社会虽经西方个人主义、女性主义等思潮的洗礼,带来女性地位的提升以及婚姻家庭观的变迁,然而生子仍是现代社会中对已婚妇女的一个普遍期待。在华人社会的文化脉络中,不孕不只是一个医疗问题,同时也是一个家庭问题,涉及女性个人取向的自我、家庭中的角色以及社会取向自我所产生的个人内在冲突与人际冲突。在华人文化下的不孕妇女的调适历程,伴随无形文化脉络而来的压力、社会标签,以及个人面对不孕症的因应历程,交互建构而习得的无助感。存在于丧失社会角色、家庭角色扮演认同的危机。本文采取增强权能取向此一早期美国针对黑人妇女缺权以及习得无助感而发展出来的社会工作处置观点,置于华人社会脉络对于不孕症妇女所产生的问题意识,提出文化脉络的问题检视框架建构之必要性,并以增权观点取代医疗病理观点,提出个人增权与社会增权的基本处置方针。
In traditional Chinese society, the main function of marriage is to pass on from generation to generation, continue the incense, and inherit the family business. Although the social order in Taiwan of China has been baptism of ideological trends such as Western individualism and feminism, it has brought about the advancement of women and the changes in the concept of marriage and family. However, being a child is still a common expectation of married women in modern society. In the cultural context of Chinese society, infertility is not only a medical issue, but also a family issue, which involves the self-orientation of women, the role in the family and the individual inner conflict and interpersonal conflict arising from the social orientation of self. The adjustment process of infertile women under the Chinese culture, the pressure accompanied by the intangible culture, the social labeling, and the sense of helplessness gained by the individual in response to the history and interaction of infertility. There is a crisis of losing social role and family role identification. This article adopts the view of empowerment to orientate this early-stage social work developed in the United States against the black women’s lack of rights and sense of helplessness and put them in the context of the Chinese society for the infertility women’s awareness of the issues raised by cultural context It examines the necessity of building a framework and replaces medical pathology with empowerment perspectives and proposes the basic approach to personal empowerment and social empowerment.
