提起U-2高空侦察机人们并不陌生。60年代中,它曾多次窜入中国大陆上空进行间谍活动,并屡遭我人民空军的地空导弹部队痛击。1996年8月,在北京的中国军事博物馆展出了4架U-2的残骸,引起了很大轰动,有很多人至今还记忆犹新。U—2飞机也曾潜入过前苏联腹地上空进行侦察,并遭导弹击落(见本刊今年5月号《U-2间谍飞机覆灭记》一文)。后来,苏联也研制了一种类似的高空侦察机或叫高空飞行平台,人称“前苏联的U-2”。只是因为保密的缘故,一直鲜为
People are familiar with the U-2 reconnaissance plane. In the mid-1960s, it flew into mainland China many times for espionage and was repeatedly beaten by surface-to-air missile forces of the People’s Air Force. In August 1996, four wrecks of U-2 were displayed at the Chinese Military Museum in Beijing, causing a great sensation. Many people still remember it. The U-2 also sneaked into the former Soviet Union’s hinterland for reconnaissance and missile down shootings (see our May issue of this year’s article “U-2 Spy Plane Override”).
