《毛小姐和革命烈士》以民间视角完成苦难叙事,用文化批判的姿态表达了如今乡村的种种乱象,其沉郁和悲剧性的美学风格展现出一个冷漠无情的乡村画面。虽然看得出作者依然无限怀念淳朴的乡土中国和土地记忆:木扎村,玉米镇,米城,稻城……然而他笔下的世界却丝毫找寻不到传统文明的烛照。乱象丛生、光怪陆离,所有人都在巨大的生存性苦难的笼罩下艰难过活。匮乏的生活图景体现在每一个细小的角落,任何一个人都不断践踏伦理秩序,
