“,”The abnormal expression of phosphatase tensin homologous protein(PTEN) gene missing from chromosome 10 is closely related to many kinds of malignant tumors. This gene regulates cell proliferation, survival and metabolism by inhibiting the activity of P13K/AKT signaling pathway. The role of PTEN in tumor has been known for a long time, but in recent years, researchers have found that the inactivation of PTEN will lead to over activation of immune cells such as T and B cells, and then promote the development of autoimmune diseases. This paper reviews the research status of PTEN in rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis and other autoimmune diseases in recent years.
