晚清由于受“天朝中心”、“华夷之辨”社会认知的影响,社会认识及判断还停留在易代换朝的“乱世”层面。因此,农耕文明固有的“乱世出英雄”、“忠君报国”等观念,随着社会危机的加深成为这一时期主要的社会心理诉求,京剧老生“前三杰”艺术流派,无论是英雄历史剧目、士人君子形象,还是沉郁刚健艺术风格,都适时地契合、回应了呼唤英雄的社会心理,体现了特定时期人们的审美趣味和审美理想。
In the late Qing dynasty, due to the influence of social cognition of “Celestial Center” and “Hua Yi Zhi Dian”, social understanding and judgment still stayed on the level of “Chaotic Life” which was easy to change. Therefore, the notion of “chaotic heroics” and “loyalty to the kingdom” inherent in farming civilization became the major social psychological demands during this period as the social crisis deepened. Peking opera veterans “top three genre” art genre , Whether it is the historical repertoire of heroes, the image of gentleman gentleman, or the gloomy and vigorous artistic style, all fit in time, responding to the social psychology of calling heroes and reflecting people’s aesthetic taste and aesthetic ideal in a specific period.
