Through the study of microscopic growth process and mechanism of CdS thin films prepared by chemical solution method, a method of ultrasonic chemical preparation of CdS semiconductor thin films in solution was established. Scanning electron microscopy was used to observe the growth of cadmium sulfide thin films deposited by chemical solution and sonochemical methods. The UV-visible spectrum of CdS films is discussed
