为应对生态环境恶化、资源能源紧张、气候变化等问题,人类社会先后提出了生态经济、循环经济、绿色经济、低碳经济等经济发展新理念,并派生出低碳产业、绿色产业、循环产业、生态产业等关联概念。这些概念的涵义既有相近之处,又有相异的特点。其中,低碳经济、绿色经济、循环经济、生态经济的目标指向和侧重领域差异明显,但在降低生态环境负效应方面目标一致。低碳技术与绿色技术、循环利用技术、生态技术有交集,循环利用技术是生态技术的子集,生态技术是绿色技术的子集。低碳产业与生态产业、绿色产业存在交集,且循环产业是生态产业的子集,生态产业是绿色产业的子集。
