为迎接新世纪的到来，1998年8月，北京市举办了“中华世纪门”规划设计竞赛。清华大学建筑学院的方案获第一名，该方案还获得第五届（1998年）首都建筑设计十佳奖。本文介绍了中华世纪门的设计构思过程。
To welcome the arrival of the new century, in August 1998, Beijing hosted the “China Century Gate” planning and design competition. The program of the School of Architecture of Tsinghua University won the first place, and the program also won the 5th (1998) Capital Construction Design Top Ten Award. This article introduces the design process of China Century Gate.
