以对除草剂十分敏感的自花授粉作物谷子作为抗除草剂遗传改良的模型作物,将从其近缘野生种狗尾草中筛选出不同的抗除草剂基因,通过远缘杂交等技术途径转移到栽培谷子中,创制出抗性强、抗性遗传稳定、属不同遗传类型、农艺性状良好、达到实用水平、单抗或复抗除草剂“拿捕净”、“氟乐灵”和“阿特拉津”的谷子新种质、在相关应用基础研究工作的基础上拓建了综合利用新种质的系列方法,建立健全了一套不抗除草剂作物获得抗除草剂特异性的技术路线.
