The severity of the shock which was refractory to c onventional therapies necessitated to require to a cardiopulmonary bypass on eme rgency, followed by an external pneumatic bi ventricular assistance. After 10 d ays (3 days with cardioplumonary bypass and 7 days of bi ventricular assistance ), the patient had been able to be disconnected of any mechanical circulatory su pply with total recovery of the cardiac function.
