The Silk Road Economic Belt is centered on the land-based Silk Road. By strengthening its ties with Asian countries, the Silk Road Economic Belt not only provides an opportunity for China’s economic and trade ties with neighboring countries, but also promotes the exchange of eastern and western musical cultures. Chang’an (now Xi’an), as the center of ancient politics, economy and culture, played an important role in the exchange of nations along the Silk Road. It promoted the great integration of the Western Regions and the Central Plains as well as the integration and collision of various cultures. Therefore, the Western music culture was introduced into the Central Plains through the Silk Road, which affected the development of music culture in the Central Plains.
