This paper describes a high performance and high resolution EEG data acquisition system. The system uses EEG electrodes with preamplifiers, rigid helmets, software-controlled gain amplifiers and digital signals, and optical coupling to a computer. The miniature preamplifier is mounted directly on the electrode, reducing the coupling with the external electromagnetic field and reducing signal distortion due to electrode impedance mismatch or rise. The electrode is fast, less skin treatment, excellent sealing performance. In repeated experiments, the electrode placement position deviation still showed a better one between 1 ~ 3mm
