2012年6月,在我国首次载人交会对接任务中,中国航天科工集团公司二院25所的交会对接微波雷达为天宫与神九精准导引,圆满完成了“首先捕获、稳定跟踪、精确测量”的神圣使命。这是继2011年11月我国首次交会对接任务后,微波雷达不负众望,再让“太空之吻”画面完美定格。25所自主研发的交会对接微波雷达是实施此次交会对接任务的关键单机,为交会对接提供距离、速度、角度、角速度等信息。在首次载人交会对接中,微波雷达在神舟九号飞船和天宫一号目标飞行器相距224公里时,迅速发现并锁定目标,直至两航天器成功实现对接,始终工作正常,性能稳定、状态良好,为交会对接任务的圆满完成做出了突出贡献。

Until the two spacecraft successfully achieved docking, they were working normally with stable performance and good condition, For the successful completion of rendezvous and docking mission made outstanding contributions.
