列管式换热器广泛地应用于化工、制盐、电力等部门。它是将换热管穿过钻孔的管板,折流板而固定于桶体内的。根据换热器换热面积的不同,管板和折流板的孔数少则几十个,多则上千个。这些孔分布于两块管板和折流板上,要求装管时均能顺利通过,孔的精度要求较高,是换热器制造中的一个关键环节。目前,通常采用的钻孔方法是将管板和折流板重叠在一起,进行整体钻孔,但是用这种方法加工孔费时费力、精度得不到保证,固定板与管子之间不能紧密配
