在生产上,往往由于轮作倒茬和播种时节的阴雨、干旱以及麦田过多、劳力紧张等原因,使得部分冬小麦播种过晚,不能形成分蘖越冬。这类麦田,常因争时抢播,而在整地、播种上粗放,虽然在管理上能与适播麦一样对待,但产量较低。针对这种现象,为使这类晚播冬小麦与适播麦一样能够获得较高产量,自1981年秋,在昌吉县连续三年,对玉米、瓜、苜蓿、套复播的绿肥和小麦茬进行了晚播冬小麦丰产栽培试验。着重对晚播麦与适播麦在生育上的异同;晚播麦低产的原因和丰产栽培技术进行了观察和摸索。
