为了贯彻党的十二大精神,努力开创我院工作新局面,十月上旬我院开展了纪念建校三十周年的活动。六日下午,全院师生员工参加了纪念建校三十周年大会。中央顾问委员会委员、原林业部部长罗玉川莅临大会,并作了重要讲话。东北林学院党委书记丁以、吉林林学院党委书记常恒增,西北林学院院长彭尔宁、云南林学院院长徐永椿,以及上海人造板厂,福建三明胶合板厂,泰州林机厂等领导同志和少数校友也参加了大会。大会由党委副书记兼副院长杨致平主持,党委书记朱济凡作了“认真学习贯彻十二大精神,努力开创我院工作新局面”的报告。他在报告中回顾了学院三十年来在党的领导下,学校教学、科研和各项工作中取得巨大成绩之后指出,学院同祖国四化建设的要求还存在很大的差距,必须以十二大精神来总结我们的工作。他说“社会主义大学的任务,不只是为了传授知识,而是为了培养出热爱林业事业,德才兼备的社会主义事业接班人”。 在谈到如何开创我院工作新局面时,他着重讲了五个方面的设想: ①必须加强领导班子的建设,认真选拔德才兼备的中青年到各级领导岗位上来,做好新老干部的团结、合作和交替,使新的领导班子能成为坚决贯彻十二大精神,联系群众,有胆有识的能开创新局面的领导班子。②必须进行教学改革,大力提高教学?
